- Editing doctoral dissertations on Constructions of Survival and Coping by Women Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and Barriers to Electronic Medical Records Adoption by Selected Primary Care Providers in Arizona.
- Writing grant applications for the Greater Valley Area Health Education Center (GVAHEC) Welcome Back Center, an initiative to assist internationally-trained healthcare professionals to navigate the education and licensure systems in Arizona.
- Writing the Association of Arizona Food Banks’ application for a Hunger-Free Communities grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for a statewide assessment of hunger and food insecurity.
- Researching and writing a briefing paper on disease management and the Medicaid population that helped states understand how a multidisciplinary, systematic approach to healthcare delivery can improve clinical outcomes and control costs.
- Writing and editing publications for consultant pharmacists, managed care executives, and sales forces on business issues, quality, and emerging trends.
- Conducting research and writing nationally recognized reports on the nursing shortage for the American Association of Nurse Executives, and a state-level report on the impact of nursing education program capacity on the RN shortage for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association.
- Serving as lead researcher, writer, and training faculty member for a physician/office staff training curriculum on meeting the needs of older patients.
